Ziemba is the performing moniker of El Paso-based musician, writer, and perfumer René Kladzyk. Kladzyk s multifaceted work has been showcased in venues including MoMA Ps1, Pioneer Works, National Sawdust, and toured internationally. Her most recent full length album, ARDIS, functioned as a series of portals into a sci-fi adventure and parallel world, and featured three fragrances, costumes, sets, and full choir. Her writing has been published in outlets including Teen Vogue, i-D, The Creative Independent, and more. She has held artistic residencies with Pioneer Works, Kickstarter, Varda, and Guerilla Science. Kladzyk is both terrified and elated to be releasing True Romantic, a collection of unabashed and overblown love songs, on Sister Polygon in Fall 2020.
